If you're looking to add some stability to New Vegas, pick up Borderless Gaming on Steam for $4.
I also recommend DUINVv04, which take a little work to set up, but greatly improves the font style and sizing in-game. As someone who was disappointed with FO4, but thought the loot system was a huge improvement, I can't recommend this mod enough. It's an iteration of Fallout 4 Quickloot which came out first but improves on it in a lot of key ways. Loot Menu adds the Fallout 4 loot system to New Vegas.
